Welcome to the "PT3 Web-Mentoring Site" - a site especially created for first-year teachers who are looking for answers to questions, particularly those relating to technology, and who wish to access experienced faculty from across the state as mentors.

Using the tabs at the top of this page, you can access sections of the site dealing with contact information, frequently asked questions, helpful information for both mentors and mentees, a link to discussion forums, "need-to-know" information on matters of some immediacy, and a listing of many helpful resources.

The Illinois Community College Board, in partnership with the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois State Board of Education, is pleased to present the "PT3 Web-Mentoring Site" as a portion of "Preparing Technology-Proficient Educators in Illinois," a project funded in part by the United States Department of Education through a "Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers To Use Technology" grant. This exciting project serves as an access point for Illinois educators to find accurate information about using technology as an instructional tool in the classroom.
