Summing It All Up

Kevin Bodden
Lewis and Clark Community College

Course

MATH 145 (Elementary Statistics)

Description

This module helps students learn how to enter data into lists, compute 1-variable statistics, and use list operations to change values quickly. These techniques are used to explore the effect on some important statistics when one or all the values in a data set are changed. Students will examine the effect of linear transformations and adjusting the extreme values.

Transferability

This module will transfer to any introductory level statistics class. It could also be useful in a course that examines simple data transformations.
